Our work in North America covers Education Transformation, Education Review, Educator Workforce Development, and Performance Benchmarking.
We partner with states like New York to enhance leadership and improve learning quality. Our team of Educator Workforce Development specialists administers the alternative teacher licensure program for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Additionally, our Performance Benchmarking tool, known as the International Student Barometer, is utilized by institutions throughout the US and Canada to enhance the student experience.
The Opportunity
Collaborating with our US team and global colleagues, you will play a key role in securing new, high-value business development opportunities for Etio within the US market. Your contributions will shape the business growth strategy, determine which opportunities to chase, spearhead the tendering process, and assist with the contracting and project implementation stages.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Formulate and oversee the implementation of business growth strategies for the US market
Support strategic relationship management activity with external stakeholders, representing Etio in bid and partnership negotiations
Support the Etio Leadership Team in ensuring that Etio is well positioned to win high-value contracts in our target markets
Attend supplier meetings to identify opportunities and follow appropriate actions after such meetings
Lead multi-disciplinary bid teams in the completion of RFP and tender opportunities as required to ensure qualification and completion are as effective as possible
Make bid/no bid recommendations to the business, based on detailed qualification work surrounding viability, attractiveness and commercials
Develop the writing, production and proofreading of proposals, collateral and case studies
Support the coordination of the commercial and legal input into proposals and tenders
The Person
The ideal candidate will possess an accredited Business Development qualification (APMP, Shipley, or equivalent) and have a track record of success in a matrix environment.
A thorough understanding of the US government services or education sectors and proficiency in bid management is required.
Profound experience in strategic business development within a services or consultancy framework, along with expertise in commercial modeling and budget development, is crucial for this role.
