We are looking for an HR leader to help us get there.

Insurify’s HR team is small but mighty. They manage HR administration for our 130+ person team across the US and Bulgaria. We are looking for a HR leader who can develop the HR team’s skills and drive strategic HR initiatives.  The ideal candidate will create a people and culture strategy that engages the global team and aligns with the business objectives.  They will also be an advisor to the CEO and leadership team to improve employee experience, engagement, and retention.

How you will make an impact

  • Formulate comprehensive HR strategy; develop policies and practices that support company goals and create a diverse, respectful, welcoming, and inclusive work environment for all associates.
  • Act as a partner to Insurify’s leadership team as it relates to long term people strategy, organizational design and workforce planning.
  • Build a robust recruiting and selection process, with emphasis on expanding the recruitment network to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Manage employee engagement and peoples operations (benefits, wellness, systems).
  • Develop and execute strategies, including ongoing education and training programs, to grow a diverse, inclusive and equitable organization.
  • Establish a robust performance development process with clear goals, feedback and development options.
  • Provide counsel on sensitive work-related issues and conduct investigations, where needed. 
  • Develop a compensation and total reward framework that ensures Insurify is able to attract, reward and retain a world class team.
  • Create management development programs and individually advise and coach managers at all levels to improve management skills within the organization.
  • Identifies objectives and key results for the organization's human resource function; assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Leads people and culture integration for Insurify’s acquisitions and mergers
  • Provides counsel and strategy for restructuring 
  • Provide global oversight for Bulgaria operations and visa and immigration related issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements (EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, OSHA, etc.).

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent through coursework and training
  • 10+ years of related experience (ideally including culture & organizational development) with at least 6 years of leadership experience 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Takes a creative and innovative approach to day-to-day projects and tasks 
  • Excellent people management skills; empathy and enthusiasm when building and maintaining professional relationships; ability to coach, develop, and motivate others to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to analyze information, summarize findings, and present them in ways easily understandable to stakeholders 
  • Openness to learning and willingness to give and receive feedback
