What you’ll do:
As ClassDojo’s Head of People Operations, you’ll report to the Head of People and partner with execs, managers and employees to define and deliver our People Operations strategy. This role will require excellent collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the People Operations strategy for ClassDojo.
- Build and scale all aspects of the People Operations function from onboarding operations to offboarding, including benefits administration, HRIS, compliance, immigration and leaves admin, to create a world-class employee experience.
- Create and manage an HR Technology Roadmap that supports our growth, scale and culture.
- Approach people processes / programs with a product-mindset; Gather quantitative (employee surveys, people analytics) and qualitative data (exit interviews) to inform priorities and actions.
- Champion ClassDojo’s values by embedding them throughout the employee experience.
- Build a championship team; support and challenge them to achieve excellent results.
Competencies:
- You are a hands-on, scrappy builder, who can go from 0 → 1. You hold the big picture in mind while digging into the details.
- You are a strong cross-functional collaborator and thought partner, especially with recruiters, HRBPs, and executives. You are curious and open to feedback.
- You are an innovator with a product mindset, willing to think differently and build collaboratively. You test and iterate often.
- You are an excellent problem-solver, especially in the face of ambiguity. You disaggregate complex problems, synthesize large amounts of quant and qual research into simple, actionable strategies.
- You have clear, concise written and verbal communication. We believe in strong documentation.
- You are comfortable moving quickly and adapting to business needs. You raise the bar for speed and scrappiness.
You will be a match if:
- You have 7+ years experience in an operations role with 3+ years management experience.
- You have a proven track record of implementing programs that scale across benefits, mobility, immigration, HR systems, and analytics.
- You have substantial command of people operations fundamentals (e.g.,employment relations, compliance, systems, process, cyclical programs, benefits etc.)
- You have project management skills; the ability to lead projects, motivate teams, and deliver excellent results.
