Traject is a unique software business that buys, builds, and operates market-leading vertical SaaS companies in the marketing technology space. We have acquired ten businesses since January 2018 in the reviews management, social media, and Data/SEO space. These ten products collectively form Traject, which is going to market as a single vertical SaaS offering.
- Traject Data is a collection of software platforms for brands and agencies that allow firms to effectively and accurately monitor, test, measure and prove SEO strategies to their customer bases.
- Grade.us and GatherUp help businesses operating multiple locations engage customers quickly and identify opportunities to improve through its monitoring and management platform.
- PLANOLY / Sendible / Loomly are full-service social media management platforms that offer both social media monitoring and scheduling of content.
Mission of the Role
To establish and cultivate a renowned culture and people operations team that attracts and retains top-tier talent, while supporting individual brands in becoming best-in-class solutions.
What is the Job?
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy, aligned with the company's vision, mission, and business goals, for all five brand solutions/entities.
- Manage and lead the People Operations function, initially consisting of a team of two direct reports, with the responsibility of scaling the team as needed to support the company's growth.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, managers, and employees across all brands, to foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, and retention.
- Develop and implement effective compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating an environment where all employees feel valued and can contribute to their fullest potential.
- Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems that adhere to applicable laws and regulations, and support the company's values and culture.
- Collaborate with the CFO to manage the People Operations budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive continuous improvement in people-related processes, programs, and decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the company's people-related functions
What we'll love about you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the technology/software industry.
- Proven track record of building, scaling, and managing high-performing People Operations teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable people strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Experience working with multiple brands or entities within a single organization is a plus.
- Comfortable with change management and adapting to the evolving needs of a growing company.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
