The Business Solutions Team at LG's R&D Lab in Illinois is looking for a Head of Private 5G Business to lead and create this brand new business unit for LGE US!

Job Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of the design, development and implementation of Private 5G turnkey solutions for LG's US market.

• Create and develop P5G solutions including system pricing, radio architecture, customer consultations and portfolio development.

• P&L Management, working closely with engineering, product management and marketing teams.

• Maintain and build a close industry network with B2B solutions partners (dedicated vertical devices and solutions)

• Work closely with C-suite and other major stakeholders at LG.

Job Requirements:

• Proven record of successfully running technology program for wireless products preferably 5G and delivering product to market

• 10 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures

• In depth knowledge in wireless and wired cable networks, radio architectures and how they impact overall infrastructure system and component requirements

• Understanding of telecom monetization use cases and edge networks (private and public)

• Understanding of private (CBRS) / public spectrum usages and different RAN architecture deployments

• Organized, goal oriented leader to lead and effectively collaborate with knowledgeable external partners

• Ability to fluently communicate at C-Level with clients, stakeholders, and peers becoming the 'faithful advisor'

Job Requirements:

• 15 years of relevant experience in telecommunication, industrial IoT field or equivalent combination of education and work experiences

• 5G research and consulting experiences in smart factory and logistics

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced degrees in engineering, computer science, business, or relevant fields of study
