We are seeking a Procurement professional with a strong background in process improvement, capability building, digital efficiency to drive the transformation of our procurement organization to become a competitive advantage for our company. This role will be part of the Procurement Leadership Team of our newly created zone called WEEM - West and East Emerging Markets comprising Brazil, Mexico, Hispanics, Russia, Middle East, Turkey, and Poland.
What's on the Menu?
Develop and roll out the Procurement Evolution Strategy for WEEM Zone across its core pillars- Operational Excellence, Risk & Resilience and Growth & Value with its foundations on creating strong partnerships and a Talent powerhouse for the function. The role will entail close partnership with the Global team as well as very close collaboration with teams in the countries to deploy and bring consistent improvement in results for the company. Key responsibilities across these strategic areas include:
Operations Excellence:
- Define agile processes, systems and procedures and ensure robust implementation with the teams in the countries
- Build a unified digital procurement architecture and ensure its successful implementation across the Procurement lifecycle in our countries.
- Develop and own the roll out plan for implementation of agreed upon technologies, ensuring proper communication, gap analysis, and change management.
- Develop and maintain Procurement's standard process/knowledge sharing platform, using multiple modes of engagement with employees.
- Partner with the Procurement, HR and the Global CoE team to develop capabilities in our teams across countries, addressing our current and future requirements on structures, processes and trainings needed to deliver our growth ambitions.
Risk & Resilience
- Ensure robust risk identification and management in our processes by leveraging analytics and systems and integrating these with other parts of Kraft Heinz
Business Cycle
- Implement & monitor internal controls and governance processes across the global procurement organization. Including tracking and monitoring of continuous improvement initiatives as per audit outcomes
Growth & Value
- Be the gateway for external benchmarking partners, understand trends in Procurement across categories in our WEEM geographic scope and identifying key opportunities for Kraft Heinz
- Proactively look for ways to ensure effective negotiations and relationship management with suppliers by encouraging an atmosphere of trust, openness and communication in a collaborative environment with shared objectives
- Foster business development and innovation by jointly identifying nd implementing opportunities that create long-term value for both KHC and our suppliers
- Drive a culture of financial discipline to drive savings and the transformation of the organization from the local, decentralized procurement model to a centralized, shared services model

- I have a Master's degree by education and/or experience
- I have 10+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain business roles or strategy/procurement consulting roles.
- I am a sourcing expert
- I understand different industries, businesses, especially FMCG
- I am experienced within Procurement transformation programs
- I have strong commercial knowledge and knowledge of related processes, tools and competences
- Program and project management
- I possess team leadership skills
- I develop innovative ideas for process challenges
- I have a continuous improvement mindset
- I have flexibility to travel to the WEEM countries
