Mission of the role.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Product to lead our DCFC product team and drive the strategic direction of our product portfolio on a global scale. This role involves ownership of the product strategy, roadmap, and execution, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Ownership and Strategy

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that supports the company's overall objectives on a global level.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders internally and externally on product and strategy definition.
• Oversee the product roadmap, working closely with dedicated product managers.

• Ensure organizational alignment on product definition and development.
• Facilitate effective communication between project management, engineering, operations, sales, after-sales, and marketing teams.

• Maintain close engagement with marketing for product launches and campaigns.
• Participate in key customer or partner meetings to understand problems and user stories, improving the product based on feedback.

• Ensure product pricing and costs align with market requirements and company margin targets.
• Travel as needed to offices, clients, or partners globally to facilitate product deployment and collaboration with local experts.

• Oversee the installation of defined and developed products in public spaces.
• Follow up with users and customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.

Market Expertise

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the DCFC EV market or related industry, with an understanding of the needs of different technologies for ideal infrastructure.
• Knowledge of current and future industry challenges, especially in the markets of Europe and North America.

Technical Expertise

• Ability to understand technical constraints and discuss the product's technical architecture.
• Engineering skills (preferred in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering) are highly appreciated.

User and Customer Experience Mindset

• Strong focus on design and user experience, with the ability to collaborate with UI and UX teams.
• Understanding of Wallbox design strategy and workflow.

Management and Communication

• Proven ability to manage interdepartmental communication, ensuring alignment among designers, engineers, sales, quality, operations, and data teams.
• Strong communication skills, capable of defending product decisions with VP & C-level executives.

Dependability and Flexibility

• Ability to delegate effectively while being willing to roll up sleeves in critical situations.
• Quick response to situations to minimize friction between business units or teams.

Hard Skills

• Engineering degree (preferred in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering).
• Extensive Product Management experience from concept to production.
• Proficiency in Product Management methodologies.

• Fluent in English.
