Job Description

Team: Product

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Head of Product in Germany.

This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and scaling a full product portfolio within a fast-growing, international B2B MarTech environment. You will define the overarching product vision and ensure alignment across multiple solutions, markets, and stakeholders. The position requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with direct impact on portfolio performance, profitability, and innovation. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and guiding them from concept to market readiness. Working in a highly cross-functional and global setting, you will influence both product direction and organizational maturity. This is an opportunity to lead product transformation at scale and build long-term competitive advantage.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and lead the end-to-end product portfolio vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and market needs.
  • Manage portfolio composition decisions (invest, grow, maintain, sunset) to maximize business impact, ROI, and competitive positioning.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform product direction and prioritization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and validate new product and business opportunities, including the development of business cases and early-stage execution.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and continuous improvement, balancing innovation with optimization.
  • Monitor product performance metrics (revenue, profitability, adoption, retention) and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Establish cross-product priorities and allocate resources effectively across initiatives based on strategic value and impact.
  • Build and scale the product management function by defining standards, capabilities, and best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition, retention, and product adoption.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of product management experience, including leadership of multi-product SaaS portfolios; experience in MarTech, Pharma, or regulated industries is a strong advantage.
    • Proven experience in portfolio strategy, product lifecycle ownership, and P&L responsibility across international markets.
    • Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial skills, including business case development, pricing, ROI analysis, and SaaS metrics.
    • Deep expertise in product management practices such as discovery, roadmap planning, prioritization, and experimentation.
    • Experience balancing innovation vs. optimization and core platform vs. customer-driven development.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and scale product organizations, define operating standards, and mentor product managers.
    • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and data-driven decision-making skills.
    • Strong leadership mindset with the ability to manage both individual work and team performance effectively.
    • Creative, critical, and structured thinker with a problem-solving orientation and strong execution focus.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive compensation with regular performance-based salary and career development reviews.
      • Opportunity to join a highly experienced, collaborative, and international team.
      • Clear career growth and advancement opportunities in a scaling organization.
      • 18 business days of paid time off (20 after 2 years of service).
      • Sick leave: 4 non-documented days and 20 documented days per year.
      • 3 paid family leave days for marriage, childbirth, or bereavement.
      • Comprehensive medical insurance coverage.
      • English language courses and ongoing learning opportunities.
      • Access to professional development through conferences and industry forums.
      • Regular corporate events and team-building activities.
      • Flexible work environment, including hybrid/remote work options and well-equipped offices.
