Head of Program and Projects for the Protect Pillar

Background: The Protect Pillar is a unique BBH-construct designed for clear, centralized and coordinated accountability: to protect against physical and logical security risks; to safeguard stakeholder assets; and to detect, prepare for, and respond effectively to security events.

To that end, the Protect Pillar encompasses the following areas:

  • Cybersecurity;
  • Enterprise Data Governance;
  • Enterprise Data Protection;
  • Enterprise Incident Management;
  • Global Security; and
  • Information Security Management ("ISM").

Given that technology is an integral component of the Pillar's control measures and a key asset to safeguard, Protect is "hosted" by BBH's enterprise Systems organization

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Management lead for the Protect Pillar, providing input for planning, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and/or escalating to the Head of the Protect Pillar as needed:
    • Key projects will include implementing controls designed to comply with the second amendment to DFS Part 500; to Europe's DORA; and other cybersecurity, operational resilience or incident reporting-related regulations, as may be implemented (e.g., CSSF 24/847)
  • Work with the Head of the Protect Pillar in setting priorities and goals for the Protect Pillar; driving initiatives to completion;
  • Work with the Head of the Protect Pillar to set the agenda and compile/review materials for various oversight committees, including the Cybersecurity Oversight Committee and the Artificial Intelligence Committee; and
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the Head of the Protect Pillar as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management
  • Financial services background required
  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
