Head of Program Management & Delivery, PMO

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

MotorTrend is looking for a motivated leader to oversee enterprise Program Management and the newly created Delivery PMO (Program Management Office).  This person will leverage their multifunctional skillset to build and lead the delivery of key customer-facing projects and initiatives. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Operates as enterprise-level program management leader, consensus creator and thought partner to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) of MotorTrend Group. Serve as liaison between staff, executives, and senior leaders on cross-functional company projects, proposals and planning.
• Serves as point person on essential cross-functional projects across the org and plan major planning meetings. Candidates must be deeply passionate about cross-functional project management and execution. 
• Collaborates and communicates on structuring and helping to deliver company-wide initiatives in partnership with the ELT.
• Provides analysis, recommendations, and options to ELT re high impact decisions. Assists and communicates with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
• Operates at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility. Promotes team integration as well as cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Oversees delivery of strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads. 

• Leads and supports a team that facilitates initiatives related to new products, technical developments, global business initiatives, and strategic planning.  
• Improves current processes to delivery these projects with optimized efficiency and productivity.
• Provides support and oversight for special projects for growth initiatives

Requirements

• 10+ years in a business or executive management role. 
• Extensive consulting experience with a focus on operations and program management.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field - preferred, but not required.
• Ability to inspire and influence, and accountability for delivering clear, measurable results.
• Proven experience organizing and directing multiple departments.
• Someone with strong organizational skills, understanding of strategic priorities and the business model
• Innovator, team player, collaborator, and decision-maker. Passion for social impact, diversity, and inclusion
• A strategic thinker that’ll constantly assess and dissect how to generate revenue for the business
• Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
