Job Description
Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model, which combines the flexibility of working from home with the benefits of gathering in person. Team members can work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, and Portugal. Conditions permitting, teams will meet in person a few times every quarter at one of Grammarly's hubs, currently in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a shared workspace in Krakow.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we're looking for a Head of Remote-First Hybrid who embodies our culture to join our company. This role will be responsible for the design and implementation of our remote-first hybrid model globally.

You will be responsible for leading the effort to determine the best ways for our teams to connect, collaborate, and innovate. You will use data to understand what drives engagement and performance, how we can continue to iterate and improve on our model, and how to create experiences-both virtually and in person-that make Grammarly an employer of choice. You will work closely with the Executive team, the People Team, and leaders across the organization to drive results in our new model of working.

In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the successful design, implementation, and evolution of Grammarly's remote-first hybrid model-which provides the option to work from home or from a Grammarly hub on a daily basis and brings teams together in person a few weeks per quarter.
- Identify ways to drive productivity, engagement, connection, and innovation with our team in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Work directly with the CEO, the Operating team, and leaders across the global organization to understand what works and how we can improve our model.
- Make recommendations and implement changes to our model to drive key metrics.
- Develop creative solutions to complex problems that arise in the course of developing new work models.
- Work closely with the Workplace Experience, People Partner, Recruiting, and IT teams to ensure Grammarly's ability to continue to hire and retain top talent in our remote-first hybrid model and to develop our space needs and resources as new team members are hired across various locations.
- Research trends in the future of work and continue to develop Grammarly's model based on research and internal and external data.
- Help empower and train managers on best practices for both remote and in-person work as well as how to lead effectively in this new hybrid model.
- Communicate clear expectations and changes to our team as our model evolves.
We're looking for someone who
