Supernal is at the forefront of creating emerging mobility solutions that will foster the development of human-centered cities. We are designing a completely new electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft tailored to the mobility needs of future cities. This allows passengers a seamless intermodal journey that safely transports them to their final destination. What we do:

The Head of Sales is responsible for strategizing, developing and overseeing the organization's future sales operations. This role is responsible for creating, driving and assessing the company's sales strategy and ensuring that the sales strategy and team are aligned with the company's overall goals. The Head of Sales is responsible for providing continued leadership and strategic vision to the organization through new and enhanced sales, operational, managerial and administrative procedures. This position reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.

This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.

What you can do:

  • Provides management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with Supernal’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
  • Develops and executes go-to-market sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals and product roadmap, including identifying new and growing markets, developing sales plans, and setting revenue targets for the sales organization.
  • Crafts and continually refines innovative sales plans for penetrating new markets and expanding existing ones.
  • Builds and leads a team of high performing salespeople, driving a high-performance culture while serving to remove obstacles and facilitate the team's work.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key potential and established customers to ensure that the company is aggressively growing revenue opportunity, while meeting customer needs and retaining business.
  • Analyzes market trends, potential opportunities, data and customer feedback in order to build and improve sales performance, and to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Drives company results from both an operational and financial perspective.
  • Creates effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.
  • Works with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.
  • Works closely with management to create, implement and roll out plans for Sales goals, processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies.
  • Assures compliance to and consistent application of law, rules and regulations, company policies and procedures for all assigned areas.
  • Prepares and regularly communicates detailed operational and management reports that show meaningful metrics, progress, and insights on performance, issues, and opportunities.
  • Fosters a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborates to develop and implement action plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
  • Drives growth and market expansion strategies, with appropriate attention on long-range issues and timely attention to immediate short-term issues.
  • May require up to 25% domestic and international travel
  • Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

  • Advanced degree with a major in any of the following fields: business, engineering, contracts, organizational development or management is required
  • 15+ years of progressive experience with at least 8 years in a senior Sales role, preferably in a comparable technology/software service company (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Proven Sales leader with a track record of using metrics, processes, and tools to build and implement strategy, make sustainable, measurable improvements
  • Proven leadership ability to effectively manage large teams and multiple sites
  • Skill and expertise in organizational management with the ability to coach leaders who have the responsibility of managing diverse groups of people

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:

$275,737—$441,411 USD
