Job Description

SpotMe is an event platform for B2B marketers. With over 2 million users and 400+ customers, Forrester and G2 say we are one of the key contenders in the space. Brands like Pfizer, Workday, and Deloitte use SpotMe to build relationships, drive demand and grow revenue with events. Our software powers virtual events and webinars, in-person and hybrid meetings with apps, video, attendee engagement, and analytics. Your mission

  • As our US Head of Sales, you will be the face of SpotMe in the US. US sales account for 40% of our total ARR and your job is to bring it to 60%+ while growing our ARR by 50% YoY.

Your role

You will report to the CEO and you will work closely with the COO (deal desk, legal & infosec, and professional services), CFO (budget, sales compensation), the Business Development Director (key deals, partnerships), and the Marketing, Engineering and Product VPs. Today we have a US sales team of 10 - account executives, account managers, sales engineers, and sales development. Our sales stack is based on Salesforce, Gainsight, Chili Piper, Apollo, Clearbit, and Gong.

Responsibilities

  • Attain ARR growth targets (2022: +50%)
  • Acquire new customers with inbound, referrals, partnerships, and sales development
  • Retain and expand existing logos with a positive buyer experience and ruthless execution of our renewal playbook
  • Drive expansion activities to further strengthen our enterprise net retention (2022: >130%) with product upsells, volume upgrades, service attach, and new affiliates
  • Continuously train, coach, and develop your team of account executives, account managers, sales engineers, and sales development
  • Develop ideal sales candidate profiles and drive recruitment efforts

Requirements

  • 10 years of sales experience, including 3 in a leadership role
  • Primary experience with enterprise B2B SaaS at scale ($5-50m ARR, >$50k ACV, +50% growth)
  • Experience in event tech, martech, enterprise collaboration, or life sciences 
  • Prior experience with international is a plus
  • Track record with hiring and retaining talents
  • Hybrid (Chicago office) or remote (Central/Eastern time zone)
