Experience / Qualifications

  • 15+ years experience with a focus in leading a real estate investment sourcing function or a SMB GTM function selling financial products.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams, with a track record of expanding and developing teams.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience recruiting, training, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to spearhead new market expansions and develop performance monitoring KPIs.
  • Deep understanding of lead generation and sourcing strategies, with the ability to maximize ROI.
  • Proven ability to manage portfolios, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products..
  • Expertise in conducting market analysis to identify top-performing markets and opportunities.
  • Ability to drive business development initiatives and create new revenue streams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain robust professional relationships.
  • Experience developing and implementing systems and processes from sourcing to closing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving organizational goals through strategic initiatives and team management.
  • Ability to foster a high performance culture and collaboration within the team.

Job Description

Avenue One is seeking a dynamic and experienced real estate leader to join our team as the Head of Sourcing. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in real estate and or companies selling financial products into SMBs, specializing in sourcing and closing deals. This role involves leading and expanding the sourcing team, driving business development initiatives, and growing our list of partners that will help enhance our real estate investment strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, effectively managing a team of 8-10 people with plans for further growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Sourcing:
    • Oversee lead generation and drive the sourcing function to maximize ROI.
    • Develop and implement systems and processes from sourcing to closing.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify top-performing markets and opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Development:
    • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate technology solutions that enhance investment strategies.
    • Spearhead new market expansions and develop KPIs to monitor performance.
  • Investment Analysis and New Product Introduction:
    • Perform investment analysis and provide feedback to our financial products team.
    • Collaborate with internal teams as we introduce new financial products into the market.
    • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality financial products  by collaborating with product, prospecting, services, and asset management divisions.
  • Client Relationship Management and Team Leadership:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate investors, REITs, hedge funds, private equity firms, and developers.
    • Lead, recruit, train, and develop the sourcing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
    • Manage and expand a team of 8-10 professionals, with plans to hire additional team members as needed.

Salary Range 

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $180,000 - $225,000 at the time of posting.  Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
