Head of Strategic Finance

ClickUp is looking for a Head of Strategic Finance to lead our global Financial Planning & Analysis function. This role operates at a critical intersection in the business, helping to connect our strategy, operations, and financials with our planning processes, and enforcing accountability to those plans. Each member of the Strategic Finance member is a partner first and a financial expert second, driving company decision-making as advisors to ClickUp's top executives. Strategic Finance at ClickUp consists of functional business partnership teams and a corporate consolidation & reporting team. As right hands to company leadership, the partnership teams use every tactic and skillset at their disposal to drive efficiency, enable growth, and illuminate the path to success. This is a senior leadership role and will report to the VP of Strategic Finance.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the Strategic Finance team; providing guidance, hiring & developing talent, and ensuring the team has the resources they need to be successful.
• Work closely with ClickUp’s leadership to shape the company’s financial future — putting the funding and operational plans in place to make that future a reality.
• Partner with the Go-To-Market and Revenue Operations teams to build detailed plans around Annual Recurring Revenue and its precursors, including pipeline and Sales capacity.
• Become a trusted advisor to ClickUp's broader senior leadership team, using your experience to identify opportunities and drive investment decisions that will accelerate revenue and improve margins.
• Own the financial close, forecasting, and planning processes — working closely with Accounting and ClickUp’s leadership to ensure accuracy and deliver insights across all three financial statements.
• Define, report on, and drive accountability around a set of core performance metrics that clearly illustrate the success of each business function, helping to create a culture of performance management.
• Play an active role in cross-functional initiatives that are of critical importance to the Finance org; determining financial impacts, collaborating across organizations, advising on strategy, and keeping other executive stakeholders in the loop on important developments.
• Develop a deep understanding of operations within each business function, ensuring leaders have the right processes, systems, and investments in place to operate efficiently and achieve their goals.
• Partner closely with supporting teams to refine and enforce governance processes including purchase order and offer approvals.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of building, leading and developing high-performing teams.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or related roles, and 2+ years of experience leading leaders.
• Experience with the SaaS business model, preferably in organizations that have deployed both product and sales led growth principles.
• Experience with a wide range of financial models and knowledge of best practices required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and simplify complex information and communicate it across all levels of the organization.
• Forward-thinking, analytical, growth-oriented mindset with an ability to solve ambiguous problems and unlock opportunity.
• Strong EQ, experience partnering across matrixed organizations, and an aptitude for building deep business partnership
