Head of Strategy and Operations

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Collaborate with the Founders in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
• Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
• Help lead development of financial and budgetary plans
• Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
• Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs
• Embrace leading by example as a senior leader within AKKO

WHAT MAKES YOU QUALIFIED: 

• Minimum five years of experience in related fields including consulting, finance, and leadership within early to mid stage venture backed startups
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and / or MBA in related field
• You have been a part of and helped lead transformational startup growth
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a bias for action and pushing the boundaries
• Excellent project management skills, and masterful organization, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success 
• Excited about being part of a hyper-growth startup with a fun, scrappy mentality
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities and verbal and written communications
• Demonstrate an ability to drive results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Superior knowledge and ability to work across multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer experience, product, and engineering
• Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
