The Role
At SellerX we are growing our Sourcing & Purchasing Team and now we are looking for a Head of Supplier Management to join our team. In this role you will responsible for leading the strategic management of the company's supplier relationships and procurement processes. Sounds exciting? Apply today!
Your Responsibilities in Detail
- Develop and implement the company's supplier management strategy, including supplier selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring processes
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to understand their capabilities, capacity, and roadmaps
- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and other commercial terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible value and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address supplier-related issues and opportunities
- Analyze supplier performance data, including delivery times, quality, and cost, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization
- Implement supplier development programs to help improve the capabilities and performance of critical suppliers
- Oversee the maintenance of the company's supplier information database, including supplier profiles, contracts, and performance records
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact supplier management
- Manage the supplier management team, including setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting professional development
Your Background
To join our team, you bring along
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in supplier/vendor management, procurement, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficient in data analysis and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience leading and managing a team of supplier management professionals
- Understanding of supply chain processes, risk management, and sourcing strategies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
- Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
