Waltz Health is looking for a passionate, scrappy, talented Head of Talent and Human Resources that can help us scale our team! You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without much structure. Waltz Health is an early stage start up that is rapidly growing.Β We are particularly interested in a person who can wear multiple hats and who has a passion and experience for building high quality teams, and willing to help define and execute people processes, support the employee experience with benefits, people systems, and programs.Β
You will work closely with our co-founders and chiefs. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to make a meaningful contribution in healthcare and who would like to be part of an exciting start up journey.
You will be in charge of:- Managing the end-to-end recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process.
- Ensuring data integrity within our ATS (Greenhouse) and maintaining a clean candidate pipeline.
- Helping to plan and coordinate team building activities that support employee engagement, well-being, and social connections.
- Managing HR related data entry and ensure all employee records are current and compliant.
- Provide ongoing support on People Ops related projects including performance management, feedback surveys, regular reporting, learning and development, and so much more.
- Are enthusiastic, positive, and hardworking.
- Are flexible with job roles and responsibilities β i.e. be willing to jump into new projects and have a scrappy start-up mentality.
- Have 10+ years of experience with HR, recruiting, or people operations.
- Have experience using Greenhouse, Lever, Workable or other applicable ATS.
- Are a clear communicator who is comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
- Thrive working independently, autonomously, and can adapt to changing needs of a growing company.
- Know on how to best structure and implement company policies, including benefits, vacation time, sick leave, etc.
- Are able to think effectively, critically and creatively.
- Live in Chicago
- Learn and utilize our Applicant Tracking system.
- Perform direct outreach to prospective hires and write job descriptions.
- Do initial screenings, quarterback the interviewing process, and work with candidates all the way through the hiring process.
- Actively recruit and scour for the best talent out there.
- Learn about the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy benefit managers.
- Aid the organization with onboarding new applicants.
- Bachelor's degree
