Your role
Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition, the Head of Technical Talent Acquisition will work directly with executive leadership, talent stakeholders, and People Experience Team Leadership to design, build and operate a recruiting strategy and team that drives critical business results. This person will own the development, management, and delivery of all components of the technical recruitment strategy, in support of Dialpad’s next phase of growth.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of scaling highly effective and efficient recruiting organizations, with a track record of conceptualizing successful strategies, leading action plans, and driving the execution of organizational goals. This role requires deep expertise in delivering scalable talent acquisition processes, while also being a credible consultant to the technical teams and people partners. This position requires an ability to think strategically about problems as well as a knack for tactical execution.
What you’ll do
- By setting a clear vision for the team, you’ll lead, build, coach and inspire an outstanding global Technical Talent Acquisition team that also supports Engineering, Product, Design, technical Marketing and IT leaders globally
- Attract, mentor and develop a high performing diverse organization. Create and invest in a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Drive winning results against the hiring plan by allocating time and resources on the most important challenges, making fast data driven decisions, and taking extreme ownership for outcomes.Â
- Operational Excellence: Own and drive increased visibility and understanding of recruiting performance, strengths, and opportunities through clear, consistent reporting and story-sharing. Improve TTF, offer acceptance rate and other key metrics through continuous improvement and the adoption of new processes. Regularly assess efficacy of platforms/technology to evaluate impact to Influence go-forward strategies.
- In partnership with the executive stakeholders, design and own a data-motivated technical talent acquisition strategy that stays focused on the biggest customer problems and consistently exceeds expectations through consistent high quality delivery. Understand the talent demand based on business goals and be a key partner in headcount planning.
- Be a strategic advisor to executive leaders as you collectively devise and deploy diverse talent strategies. Foster an environment of shared ownership around talent outcomes.
- Ensure the delivery of great candidate and hiring team journeys by using data to optimize our process and approach. Work closely with team and hiring managers to influence and deliver quality assessment and high-touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
- Drive innovative and impactful initiatives to increase our brand recognition in order to attract and engage diverse world-class talent.
- Continue to raise the bar for talent through research motivated targeting and consistent use of high-quality assessment tools.
Skills you’ll bringÂ
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of total in house or third party technology recruiting experience. Three years of direct employee people leadership experience within talent acquisition in a global hyper growth SaaS or other technology recruiting environment is strongly preferred
- Proven experience building, spearheading and developing a distributed high performing global technical talent acquisition team in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated experience directly influencing C-Suite customers in a medium company environment (1500+ employees)
- Fluent in the operational best practices of talent acquisition including recruiting systems, tools and reporting.Â
- Passionate, strategic leader who has successfully influenced a cohesive and collaborative recruitment culture across an organization.
- Voracious learner with the ability to drive results in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
- Track record of a commitment to diversity equity and belonging and a belief that diverse teams bring better business and customer outcomes.
