Job Description

Swimlane is looking for an experienced Head of Training . You will work remotely within the CX (Customer Experience) team as a player/coach managing trainers/content creators, and will be responsible for setting strategy at a company level for the creation, design, implementation, and delivery of product training documentation and training sessions to employees, partners, and customers.

What You'll Do:
  • Structure an overall product training program for employees, customers, and partners
  • Enable partners to sell products and deliver services
  • Manage and improve the corporate LMS
  • Create product training content for internal and external teams
  • Deliver training through remote live or recorded sessions
  • Create product certification programs for internal and external teams
  • Assist sales teams with sales enablement content and delivery
  • Formulate training policies and procedures
  • Set and measure key training and enablement metrics
  • Create training services and improve the training P+L
  • Hire, train, and manage a training team
  • Consult with subject matter experts from engineering, support, and product management

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field such as computer science or a focus on English, writing, or communications
  • 7+ years of experience leading corporate training programs for complex technical products
  • Technical experience with SaaS/Cloud companies
  • Experience with one or more of the following security technologies: Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DLP, WAF, authentication technologies, DDoS mitigation, threat analysis, SIEM, etc
  • Software development or scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell, etc.) helpful
  • Strong writing, production, and technical editing skills
  • Very strong analytical skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from engineering, support, and product management.
  • Proven experience as leader and manager
  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations and start-up environments who has partnered with engineering, product management and sales leadership
  • Periodic travel for corporate training and functions

This is a remote position.
Variable compensation to be discussed during offer process.
