Head of US Strategy

The Head of US Strategy is a key role responsible for growing the US business. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, have experience managing a wide range of competing priorities and relish driving real P&L impact. In the role you’ll be responsible for overseeing customer acquisition, driving initiatives to increase the value of our existing customers and reducing churn. You’ll also be a key stakeholder inputting into our product development roadmap. 

• Owning our growth strategy - working out how we can scale and improve our existing channels and launch new ones
• Focusing on the customer experience and journey to minimise value leakage across the onboarding process
• Piloting a wide range of initiatives aimed at increasing our revenue and reducing costs in our business
• Overseeing the rollout of successful pilots
• Working closely with other departments and the broader Senior Management team on tactical projects

• 4-10 years of relevant experience at a strategy consulting firm, bank or fast-paced start-up
• Ability to create persuasive arguments and build business cases based off data
• Operational experience to see something all the way through from beginning to end
• Willingness to get hands dirty and experiment
• Highly analytical and strong quantitative skills
• You love a challenge - both being challenged and challenging conventional thinking
• Ability to effectively prioritize work based on impact and effort
• Strong excel skills required, experience working with SQL and Looker is a plus
• Experience and/or knowledge of financial services and specifically in the credit card segment is a plus
