Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience working in advertising sales, with a focus on video sales.
  • Experience in leadership/people management.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in sales management, leading and developing team members.
  • Experience in television and/or video sales.
  • Understanding of Video industry's issues and growth, and a commitment to advance Google's forward-looking strategies.
  • Knowledge of Connected TV, digital video marketplaces, and Google's ad products, with a focus on YouTube.
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and execute strategies with executive clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, communication skills, facilitation skills, and business judgment.

The Multi-Channel Solutions (MCS) Video team creates video advertising solutions and initiatives, helping teams activate at scale to deliver against customer business objectives.

As Head of Video, you will lead video strategy and activation to deliver growth across retail verticals. The Head of Video leads accountability to the business by exploring business opportunities, developing industry go-to-market plays, and partnering with teams to grow our YouTube business.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video, and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.Responsibilities

  • Run a team of industry leading video specialists and mentor team members to strive for high performance.
  • Define and develop video plans and present these plans with authority to executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with leaders across teams to shape video roadmaps that equip our teams to deliver results for our customers and business growth.
  • Partner across Multi-Channel Solutions (MCS) to shape, develop, and deliver streamlined, scalable solutions for planning, buying, and measuring video advertising. Define the infrastructure and plans needed to increase video investment.
  • Lead a video team that collaborates and creates actionable video strategies that convert at scale, enabling business teams to pitch and close more effectively.
