THE TEAM

The Strategy and Operations organization strives to make Zuora the best example of a modern-day subscription business and inspire those customers looking to transform and scale their operating model. Our vision-mission, “We power ZEOs to sync up and scale up to achieve success together”, means that we guide the corporate strategy by driving focus and cross-functional alignment, and ensuring that Zuora has the systems (people, process, tools) to empower every team and every ZEO to be successful. We also share our experiences achieving Zuora’s mission and strategy with customers, partners and analysts.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Zuora has grown from a small start-up to the subscription management software industry leader and is now poised for its next phase of growth. Zuora’s Blueprint is the collection of systems (people, process, tools) that support the development, evolution and alignment of Zuora’s corporate strategy. You will partner with leaders and executives across the company to drive alignment of strategy decisions, identify areas of growth and planning, and create the constructs to support these activities using your change management experience, strategic thinking and analytical mind to make Zuora the best-run business in the Subscription Economy.  

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE

• Engage business leaders and stakeholders in developing strategies and actions that are executable, measurable and accountable
• Understand the gaps between the current and desired state in our operational strategies to guide cross-functional programs toward key results
• Guide the creation or evolution of systems that support these strategies so that results are adaptable, repeatable and scaleable
• Executives and next level leadership will have a common understanding of the strategies necessary to achieve targets
• Follow market data & trends, and incorporate insights into strategy discussions & operational plans   
• Use predictive analytics to inform executive-level decisions 
• Support the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer in corporate development topics like strategic investments and corporate alliances

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• 8+ years experience within two or more functional areas (e.g., product management, product marketing, product strategy & operations)
• B2B Enterprise SaaS Software experience is a must
• Lead across organizations and teams with the ability to drive strategic decisions, anticipate and resolve challenges through logic and reasoning
• Excellent judgment and agility in problem solving root issues
• Business and analytical skills including experience building business cases and models 
• Exceptional data analysis with the ability to find the trends and implications within data to inform sound business decisions
• M&A or post-merger integration is a definite advantage
• Demonstrates relentless execution, resourcefulness, and delivering results in challenging situations (aka you get things done!)
• Top-notch communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating insights through data with senior-level executives and rallying cross functional teams through inspiration and vision
