We’re looking for a leader for the SMB Marketing function to join our Growth and Marketing organization. Reporting to the Director of SMB Growth and Marketing, this leader’s mandate would be to create high performance marketing strategies and campaigns, in service of increasing SMB retention and revenue growth. This role will have a global remit, spanning all segments of SMB business unit.Â
What you’ll do:
Lead and own a rapidly growing, high performing team of SMB content strategists, copywriters, and designers.
Lead the overarching marketing strategy for SMB segments with a goal to increase retention and incremental revenue, via a multi-channel plan spanning web, email, in-product, sales, search, organic, and paid social channels. Basically, any channel where we serve SMB advertisers.
Be accountable for messaging strategy, prioritization, and deliverables for SMB go-to-market launches and always-on campaigns.
Become the thought leader for all SMB messaging and marketing at Snap.
Run an effective collaboration with peer SMB teams in Growth, Data Science, Web Development, Channels, Paid Acquisition, and Sales.
Develop performance marketing programs for discrete SMB advertiser segments which scale across channels, audiences and regions.
Create practitioner content for SMB’s which inspires and educates them about the value of Snapchat as an effective marketing platform, moves them through their customer lifecycle, drives adoption of key products, and ultimately increases retention.
Develop SMB oriented proof points, built with customer and market insights - including success stories, testimonials, and customer advocacy.
Collaborate with data science and digital marketing teams to implement new measurement capabilities and improve on existing ones in order to determine the efficacy of content and optimize it accordingly.Â

Analytical rigor and an ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
An understanding of small businesses and their marketing strategiesÂ

Minimum Qualifications:Â
10+ years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Product Marketing Communications, or Sales Enablement, with exposure to B2B/Prosumers audience
5+ years of growth or marketing experience, preferably in SMB or consumer based businesses.
Experience creating global content & marketing initiatives that scale across regions
Experience leading cross-functional teams to launch new products / programs and drive results, in a rigorous KPI-driven setting
Proven track record in building teams that deliver high volume, high quality campaigns, consistently
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in building & leading marketing teams.
For NY based applicants:Â
- The standard base salary range for this position is $230,000 - $255,000
- This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash bonus
- This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
