Job Description

Team: Marketing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Head, US Government Price Reporting in United States.

This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of market access, finance, compliance, and commercial strategy, with full ownership of U.S. government pricing operations.
You will lead the design and scaling of a high-performing government price reporting function during a period of rapid portfolio and commercial expansion.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment across all government pricing obligations, including Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, and VA/FSS programs.
You will act as a key advisor to senior leadership, influencing pricing strategy, contracting models, and value-based arrangements.
Beyond compliance, you will drive innovation by modernizing systems, enhancing automation, and building scalable processes for a growing organization.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the long-term infrastructure of a critical function within a fast-evolving biotech environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and scale the U.S. Government Price Reporting function, ensuring it is structured to support portfolio expansion, increased complexity, and long-term commercial growth.
  • Oversee accurate calculation, validation, certification, and submission of all government pricing obligations, including Medicaid (AMP, Best Price), 340B, VA/FSS, Medicare Part B and D, and state reporting requirements.
  • Develop and execute a forward-looking strategy leveraging automation, analytics, and system improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Ensure full compliance with evolving federal and state regulations while proactively assessing policy changes and their business impact.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for audits, regulatory inquiries, and external government pricing interactions, including remediation and response activities.
  • Design governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure audit readiness and mitigate compliance risk in a complex commercial environment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure pricing integrity and alignment across all systems and processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance on contracting structures, pricing decisions, discount programs, and financial forecasting implications.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, establishing clear roles, succession planning, and capability development pathways.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in U.S. government pricing within pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations.
    • Deep expertise in Medicare (ASP, Part B/D), Medicaid (AMP, Best Price), 340B, VA/FSS, and state pricing/reporting frameworks.
    • Proven experience in buy-and-bill models and commercial contracting structures with strong understanding of downstream pricing impacts.
    • Demonstrated success building or scaling government pricing infrastructure in a growing or complex commercial organization.
    • Strong leadership experience managing teams and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to regulatory detail.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex pricing frameworks into actionable business insights.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary range: 240,000 USD – 330,000 USD annually, plus short-term and long-term incentive opportunities.
      • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.
      • Retirement savings plans with employer support.
      • Performance-based incentives aligned with company and individual success.
      • Flexible remote work model with preference for candidates in the US Eastern Time Zone.
      • Inclusive and equity-driven workplace culture with strong support for diversity and belonging.
      • Opportunities to shape and lead a strategic function within a high-growth biotech environment.
      • Exposure to enterprise-wide decision-making and high-impact commercial strategy initiatives.
