HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Partner Relationship Manager will report to the Head of Channel Partnerships in the Channel Partnerships Department - Health and Benefits Division. This role is responsible for assisting the Managing Director in managing business relationships with recordkeepers, consultants and other channel partners. This position will assist in on-boarding large opportunities and will maintain these institutional relationships. This position will be expected to grow these relationships and communicate on the status with the Managing Director, Sales Directors, and other appropriate team members. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing our institutional relationships, strategic plans to expand relationships, projects, and client communications, coordinating the on-boarding of new large relationships, and working closely with Legal, Operations and Technology as well as with the Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators.

  • Coordinate activities around institutional partner relationships such as recordkeepers, consulting firms, and other channel partner
  • Receive and provide communication internally and externally regarding client deliverables
  • Work with institutional partners to expand business
  • Organize client conference calls and meetings with salespeople to determine client needs and then outline and implement project plans
  • Participate in internal meetings to identify and document tasks to be completed, then design and coordinate/implement project plan
  • Partners with representatives from Technology, Legal, Operations and Client Service
  • Other duties as assigned


IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

  • 7-10 years of experience in account management or partner relationship management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and analytic skills combined with task and time management skills
  • Comfortable liaising with various individuals at all levels of the business both internally and externally
  • Demonstrate proactive, problem-solving, decision-making and client contact skills
  • Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft suite of products. Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Previous experience in IRAs and/or Retirement Plan Industry preferred
