Risk Strategies Consulting (RSC) is the actuarial and benefits consulting division of Risk Strategies Company. We are an analytics-oriented firm employing data driven strategies to support our clientβs goals and objectives.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Healthcare Data Analyst position in our Wayne, PA office (remote). Responsibilities include ingesting, standardizing, loading, validating, analyzing, and reporting of large data sets. The Healthcare Data Analyst will be responsible for coordinating, documenting, and acquiring data from various internal and external data sources.
This position is embedded within a collaborative and cohesive team of analysts, senior analysts, consultants, and clinicians which offers tremendous opportunity for growth, accelerated responsibilities, and direct client exposure.
This role offers the opportunity for an entry-level analyst to learn the healthcare industry, develop strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, and to work directly with Fortune 200 companies.
A successful candidate is highly analytical, self-directed, a critical thinker, and possesses unique curiosity in problem solving. The analyst can anticipate a fast-paced work environment with multiple projects that run parallel to one another. The ability to identify and allocate appropriate company resources will become crucial.
Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs degree (BS) in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Economics, etc.)
β’ Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Ability to work self-directed both individually and in small groups
β’ Ability to generate information quickly and manage multiple projects at once
β’ Interested in becoming proficient in querying languages and business intelligence tools
Preferred, not required
β’ Experience in Excel, SQL, and other analytical software
β’ Experience with data mining tools such as Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI
