Help Desk Specialist

As a Help Desk Specialist at FMH, you'll support our busy IT department by providing great customer service while troubleshooting and resolving tickets.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this role, you'll need the following:

  • Experience: Up to one year of job-related experience. December 2022 graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Education: Associates degree preferable in a technology-based major.
  • Skills: Strong PC application support skills required, such as basic knowledge or Windows, Microsoft Office, and print drivers. Strong customer service skills and computer aptitude necessary along with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues is a must. Must be able to work independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers incoming calls and troubleshoots internal and external client issues.
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors issues to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Researches methods and procedures and then proposes new business practices. Creates new documentation when applicable and keeps all existing documentation up to date.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains user rights in FMH systems.
  • Understands and applies Information Technology department standards and Help Desk department processes and procedures.
  • Assists with special projects (office set ups, desk changes, company event setups, audio-visual assistance) as needed.
