The Hematology/Urinalysis Project Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing projects within the Hematology and Urinalysis R&D project portfolio, including projects that entail new product development, on-market sustaining work, and regulatory compliance. This position is part of the Program Management Office located in Miami, FL, and will be Hybrid, with approximately 2 days per week in the Miami office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage large-scale, complex programs through core team functional representatives and their extended teams
  • Direct core team project actions and resolve issues or conflicts escalated to the core team
  • Make or facilitate project trade-off decisions within the boundaries of the business approved project contract
  • Accountability to business leadership team for the success of the program
  • Responsible for achievement of QCD (quality, cost, delivery) metrics for their programs
  • Identify and drive optimizations or countermeasures when project is delayed or exceeding resources

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, Medical Device business management or related field with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years in program or project management leading cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams by influence in a matrix organization
  • Adept learner with ability to fully utilize the Danaher Business System tools
  • Understands product development and builds partnerships between disciplines and cultures to accomplish common project goals

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certificate
  • ISO and FDA regulated environment experience

The salary range for this role is $125-145K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
