Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, prepares, initiates, monitors, and terminates hemodialysis treatments on dialysis patients. Has the authority to set up the dialysis machine and prepare all disposals. Has the authority to weigh patients pre-dialysis, obtain vital signs and initiate dialysis. Has the authority to cannulate vascular access. Has the authority to pull any equipment offline that fails safety checks.

Schedule: 40HR FT Day Shift

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Previous experience preferred

Certification: CCHT Certification Require
