We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, dedicated people to join Alcon. As a HEOR Manager to join our Health Economics Family team in Fort Worth, TX. As a HEOR Manager, you are responsible for The Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Manager will be crafting and conducting HEOR evidence generation projects and performing dissemination activities for pipeline and marketed Alcon surgical and/or vision care products. This individual will contribute to market access scientific strategies and value propositions in assigned areas of responsibility, and work in close collaboration with the respective cross-functional and regional market access teams to ensure efficient market access for our products.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Lead the execution of HEOR strategies and tactics that demonstrate the value proposition of the Alcon products globally.
- Ensure timely availability of HEOR key deliverables to support market access, R&D, commercial and scientific strategies.
- Deliver evidence generation (e.g. claims database analysis) and evidence synthesis projects (systematic reviews and meta-analysis) to demonstrate value proposition to external collaborators and enhance brand value.
- Support the conduct of innovative and complex economic modelling activities that enhance the economic value of brands for payers and HTA agents
- Develop value demonstration and communication tools that prove the product and service values to providers and purchasers
- Support the development of publication strategy and lead tactical execution that optimally optimize access in key markets and provide scientific backbone to commercial and payer messages.
- Support cross-functional and regional market access teams to drive evidence generation needs, develop innovative analysis plans, and manage data-driven initiatives.
- Understand and translate country needs into HEOR deliverables and supports local teams in adaptations of global HEOR tools.
- Engage in expert interactions to ensure timely strategic input, understand evidence needs and drive scientific communication of value messages.
What you'll bring to Alcon:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.; Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience
Work hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Travel Requirements: 20% Travel

Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Master's degree or higher in related field (Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Public Health) preferred
- 3 years of HEOR or Market Access related experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or consulting industry
