High Reach

Are you skilled with a high-reach forklift and ready to join a team where your precision and efficiency are celebrated? As a High Reach Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in safely moving products, materials, and equipment throughout our facility while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and procedures. Your expertise will help maintain smooth operations and exceptional service for our customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Efficient Material Handling: Use a stand-up reach forklift to put away palletized units in rack locations above floor height and retrieve them for outbound shipments.

· Inventory Accuracy: Choose and record materials, weights, counts, and conditions of food items using a Radio Frequency (RF) system.

· Loading/Unloading: Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices with precision.

· Equipment Maintenance: Complete daily forklift maintenance checklists and monitor battery charge levels. Maintain and clean batteries and ensure material handling equipment is stored at the proper charging station.

Additional Duties:

· Operate other machinery and material handling equipment as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience: Prior experience operating a high-reach forklift or similar equipment.

· Skills: Basic math skills and comfort with using RF systems for inventory tracking.

· Adaptability: Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage and up to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage while wearing company-provided protective gear.

· Physical Capability: Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. (18 kgs), with weight requirements varying by facility.

· Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to meet operational needs.

· Environment Awareness: Comfortable working in noisy environments.

· Communication: Ability to understand and follow instructions in the facility’s official language.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is an advantage but not required.
