The role of the Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing lead is to lead the HIL testing for the Battery Management System (BMS) module, including Design Verification Method (DVM) development, direct changes testing on BMS software and hardware, and regression scripts development using the cutting edge HIL setups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead functional testing of all BMS modules
• Lead BMS issue trouble shooting and root cause identification
• Lead HIL verification process across multiple regions globally
• Plan testing activities to meet project timeline
• Develop DVM based on BMS software requirements
• Develop automated test cases with dSPACE Automation Desk and Python scripts
• Analyze test data to evaluate BMS performance and communicate issues to BMS developers
• Understand the BMS hardware/software requirements and vehicle/system requirements
• Support HIL development and toolchain integration
• Support battery cell/pack and vehicle testing

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience with embedded software development or testing
• Experience with dSPACE HIL products, e.g., SCALEXIO, Test Automation Framework

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $­­­­70,000 and $100,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
