Hindi Metadata Specialist in Japan

Welocalize are seeking Metadata Specialists with backgrounds in many locales and languages. You will be working at a leading consumer technology company as a contributor to the finished products released in target markets across the globe. You will evaluate the quality of both written and spoken text for services as it relates to your area of linguistic and geographic expertise. In addition, you may also work on content review and creation for Music and TV applications.

You will work cooperatively with international teams to monitor and improve the quality of client products and partner data integrations.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of accountability of the Bilingual metadata specialist:

· QA various products in by accurately following testing instructions and test cases.

· Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides and client-preferred checklists and glossaries.

· Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner.

· Ability to stay motivated and deliver results while working on repetitive tasks.

· Ability to prioritize task and issues quickly and efficiently.

· Native level language skills and cultural awareness.

· Drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements.

· Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

· Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed judgment calls with information at hand.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Passion for and knowledge of the film and TV industry.

JOB INFORMATION:

· Location: Remote in Japan

· Full-time employment

· Start date: Immediately

· Duration: 12 months (potential for further contract extension)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have native level fluency in Hindi.
• Business level in English.
• Experience with advanced spreadsheet.
• At least one year experience working as a QA, Data Analyst or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV.
• Up-to-date awareness of current and common technical language usage in the target language.
