Job Summary
Our 10-12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions.
This position will be responsible for supporting the development of Hispanic advertising campaigns that seek to achieve subscriber and revenue goals. Will support the execution of all acquisition communications across all markets. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills and be able to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Be the Subject Matter Expert in social media and provide support across all multicultural segments: Hispanic, African American, International and LGBTQ
- Provide support to ensure acquisition campaigns launch on time with the following criteria: accommodate all product offerings, aligns with messaging priorities, follows messaging and brand guidelines, legally compliant
- Work closely with legal to ensure compliance of all acquisition communications.
- Review creative for marketing communications department and divisions to ensure messaging consistency.
- Work closely with field teams to support the information flow across divisions/HQ/agencies
- Provide support with delivery of assets (social media trackers, AMP)
- Provide support with management of budget roadmaps
- Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Advertising. Will consider other degrees with relevant work experience/background.
- Spanish/English proficiency. (This is a critical skill and non-negotiable).
- Strong social media acumen. Must have examples of previous work.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent problem solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work 40 hours the entire duration of the program
- Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future
Desired skills but not mandatory:
- Experience with project management tools (Basecamp, Smartsheets or other)
- Experience managing finances
- Experience with Excel
Pay
The range for this role is $21-$23/hr. and is based on academic level of achievement and business structure.
- Rising Sophomore: $21/hour
- Rising Junior: $22/hour
- Rising Senior: $23/hour
Compensation
Base Pay: $23.00
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
