Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Histology Administration Lab Support Tech to work full days in Histology Administration.

Job Summary

Prepares specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff and/or pathologists. Performs instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures.

Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution required.

Histology Lab candidates with a Bachelor of Science in general studies with 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry will qualify

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Biology (Required), BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Chemistry (Required)
