A Brief Overview
Manages all aspects of the Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist Training Program for Stanford Blood Center. Ensure appropriate alignment with and support of Residents & Fellows, Solid Organ One Day, San Jose State CLS Program, Case Study, and other related training programs.

What you will do
- Manage the development, delivery, and coordination of the training provided in the Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist Training Course.
- Responsible for student recruitment, selection, orientation, training, evaluation, and mentoring of students.
- Ensure compliance with State of California CDPH Curriculum requirements for Histocompatibility Scientist Training Program.
- Manage administration for the program including accreditation application, budget, schedules, and quarterly summary report. Manage logistics of classroom-based courses to ensure quality learning experience.
- Develop monitors to assess the effectiveness of the training. Report results, modify, and evolve the curriculum as needed.
- Oversees the State of California continuing education tracking program CE
- Comply with governmental regulations and Stanford Health Care and Blood Center policies regarding health and safety. Observe and support good health and safety practices.
- Strictly observe privacy and security related policies, procedures and practices to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of medical and other sensitive information pertaining to donors, patients, research subjects, and employees. Act as a responsible information steward and treats information as sensitive and confidential in accordance with federal and state laws and with professional ethics, accreditation standards and legal requirements. Do not disclose protected health information inappropriately.
- May be required to enter areas where other individuals work with human blood; potential may exist for unanticipated exposure to bloodborne pathogens by splash or spill.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
Experience Qualifications
- 2+ years to 3 years progressively responsible and directly relatable experience required.
- 1+ year to 2 years education or project administration/management preferred.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $42.04 - $54.66 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
