Company Overview Venia Contracting LLC is seeking a Machine Operator / Construction laborer to work at our Affordable Housing project site in Bronx, NY, Summary We are seeking a skilled and Licensed Machine Operator to join our team at Venia Contracting LLC. In this prevailing wage role, you will play a vital part in our construction processes by operating our Hoisting machine as well as support the construction team with general construction labor. Responsibilities • Operate our Hoisting machine used in the construction process with precision and care. • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. • Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments to fabricate components accurately. • Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process. • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. • Monitor machine operations for any irregularities and troubleshoot as needed. Requirements • Proven experience as a Hoisting Machine operator or similar role in a construction environment. • Must be certified and have a Class C HMO (Hoisting Machine Operator) license. • Strong knowledge of materials handling and safety protocols. • Ability to use hand tools, and other precision measuring instruments effectively. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. This a Prevailing Wage position with a rate of $110/hr.
