We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as an Intern on the Home Appliance National Sales Team!

Meaningful Work with Experiential Learning

LG's 2023 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 5 through August 4, 2023.

The internship will be based in office at the LG Aplharetta, GA Office and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end.

Responsibilities

  • The intern will be based out of our Alpharetta, GA office where we have 6 people dedicated to driving our $2.4B in appliance sales at Home Depot.
  • Our team consists of 3 National Acccount Managers, 1 Channel Marketing Manager, 1 Supply Chain Lead, and myself (Sr. Director), which has many touchpoints both within the LG organziation, as well as with Home Depot.
  • The team has vast knowledge of the appliance business with many year of experienc that will help this intern learn throughtout their time here sitting in our team.
  • The daily activities will include working alongside both our sales (Account Managers) and marketing (Channel Marketing), and assiting them in projects and their daily activities.
  • The specific activities that we will plan out include POG (plan-o-gram) analysis (which will help decide which models are productive, planning future promo events (such as racetracks), working with our HD Brand Advocate (on optimizing our online sales and LG presence), and other items that drive and increase our appliance sales with Home Depot.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University
  • Rising Junior or Senior in Bachelor's degree program
  • Sales/Marketing related major is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Analytical and well organized
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Presentation / Customer Facing Abilitiy/Analytical Skills
  • Ability to be self starter and not need day to day interaction
