Home Care Registered Nurse

Currently seeking Registered Nurse (RN) for a great opportunity in the Greater Jacksonville Florida Area. The ideal candidate will hold current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida and have minimum of 6 months of field experience. Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program. • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. • Minimum of 6 months of field experience. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Current CPR certification. • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) • Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures. • Participates with all other health care personnel in patient care planning. • Directs and supervises personnel as required. • Intakes initial history and initial evaluation and follows POC. • Performs all skilled procedures as ordered by physician. • Consults with physicians regarding change in treatment. • Participates in care conferences as scheduled. • Performs family training and consults with personnel as necessary. • Completes and submits OASIS assessments, evaluations, reassessments, transfers, resumptions of care, discharges and significant change in condition in accordance with defined time frames. • Appropriately utilizes ICD-10 codes.
