Home Inspection Reviewer

Your impact

Our new Home Inspector will review and report on inspections we receive for homes currently under contract. This position is a critical part of our closing success.

You’ll own

• Develop a methodical  system for evaluating a high volume of home inspections
• Review reports and photos to identify items needing immediate and/or future attention, CapEx items and their remaining life, and the general property condition
• Create line itemized scope of work estimates and propose CapEx budgets for reserves
• Consult with the acquisitions team on an as needed basis to finalize any open items from their review
• Identify items to be addressed immediately post-closing 

You bring

• 5+ years of experience as a home builder, estimator, superintendent, maintenance supervisor or production home customer service representative, ideally in the Midwest
• Strong knowledge of the basic workings of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, foundations, flooring, appliances, landscaping, and roofing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

• Base salary: $75,000-95,000
