Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Soliant Health is seeking an Interim pharmacist with strong hospital and IV experience. Job Overview: PharmaD, Licensed pharmacist in IL, Sterile Compounding, Ability to do Kinetics, Basic knowledge of Critical Care, Ability to trouble-shoot automated dispensing devices Shift: Hours per week: Either 70 hours in one week - 7 on 7 off or 40 hours per week Shifts: 8 or 10hour shifts - 9pm-7:30am if 7 on 7 off or 10p-6:30a if 8 hour days GENERAL SUMMARY: Reports to the Pharmacy Operations Manager and is responsible for compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies according to established procedures and professional pharmacy practice. Reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications, analyzes drug therapy and regularly consults with medical staff, nursing personnel and others in order to coordinate delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services to Medical Center patients. Although duties may vary by assigned area or shift, the following accurately describes the essential job functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served, including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for efficient and accurate dispensing of all medications by the pharmacy. Serves as a medication consultant for all healthcare professionals.
