Hotel Operations Manager
Job Description
Our Operation Manager will oversee a team of hourly Hospitality Associates and own day to day operations throughout the market to deliver a frictionless experience for our guests. This individual will work closely with our Market Lead to provide travelers with what they expect and ensure Mint House standards and cleanliness operations are met. The Operations Manager will act as “manager on duty” in the absence of our Market Lead when appropriate.Â
AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL- Responsible to develop vendor relationships, perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our apartments to deliver a seamless experience to our guests and ensure rooms are up to brand standards.Â
- Lead troubleshoot minor technical issues and maintenance including but not limited to wifi connectivity, TV setup, light bulb replacement, oversee contract appointments)Â
- Collaborate cross functionally with corporate team to implement standards and procedures in conjunction with the Market LeadÂ
- Prioritize, delegate, execute, and support day-to-day tasking of our Hospitality Associates to create a personalized guest experience and team accountability
- Park and retrieve guests vehicles in a safely and timely manner from our valet parking locationÂ
- Support our Hospitality Associates by training, coaching and providing performance feedback with an eye towards execution
- Promote a guest-centric culture to drive exceptional results and a positive environment
- Give real time feedback and communication to our Guest Agents and Supervisors to consistently meet expectations in a timely manner
- Minimum of 3 years of hotel management experience at a boutique hotel or extended stayÂ
- Previous experience in a team lead or leadership position overseeing a team up to fourÂ
- Exceptional people skills and has hired, trained, coached, and managed hourly employeesÂ
- Comfort with new tech-stacks and using mobile apps while interacting with guests at the property level
- Honest, reliable, able to work effectivity both independently and with a teamÂ
- Confident to take charge and problem solve when neededÂ
- Process-oriented skill sets to successfully manage vendor relationships i.e housekeeping, linen/laundry, maintenance, etc.
- Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- This role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record and comfortability driving manual and automatic vehiclesÂ
