Housekeeper Weekend

The Pavilion at Queensis committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking a detail orientated housekeeper to join our interdisciplinary team of health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Flushing, Queens! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping, to ensure that the facility is maintained with the upmost standard of cleanliness. • Clean resident rooms for incoming admissions. • Perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards. Including: • Clean furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating and AC units, restrooms, recreational areas, discard trash, etc. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. • Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible • Assist in various cleaning projects as directed by the Housekeeping Director and Nursing staff Qualifications: • Housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred. • Detail orientated. • Familiarity with healthcare setting perferred but not required.
