Housekeeping Supervisor

Our Housekeeping team is the backbone to our success and we rely on our team to keep Mint House clean and running smoothly. As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be instrumental in creating a seamless experience for our guests and ensuring quality and cleanliness standards are upheld consistently. Mint House properties are tech-forwarded and use of a smartphone / device is required to be successful in the role. 

• Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our apartments to ensure that Mint House standards are met consistently 
• Prioritize, delegate, execute, and support day- to -day tasks while also manage weekly and daily cleaning schedules for housekeeping team 
• Support and lead onboarding and ongoing training and improvement 
• Responsible for inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure all are up to Mint House standards and procedures 
• Clean and service when necessary including: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removal of trash/recycle removal, cleaning kitchens, refrigerators, microwaves and running dishes, glasses and flatware through dishwasher
• Ensure all guest areas and apartments are cared for and inspected to verify appliances and amenities are clean and in working order for our guests
• Assist with troubleshooting; openness to learn and use new technology 
• Manage vendor relationships and manage inventory appropriately 
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Communicate with guest care team and on-site team to streamline job processes 

• Previous housekeeping management experience in a similar environment 
• Flexible schedule to work multiple shifts and assist with staffing coverage in the instance of call-outs 
• Process-oriented skill sets to successfully manage vendor relationships i.e housekeeping, linen/laundry, maintenance, etc.
• A professional with a positive attitude that can lead and boost team morale 
• Tech-savvy, embraces tech-forwarded thinking and use of mobile applications 
• Multitasker; well organized and have significant attention to detail 
• Ability to to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up 25 pounds without assistance and able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Honest, reliable, able to work effectively both independently and with a team
