Hiring rate/range: $65,000 to $75,000, with the opportunity to make 10% annual bonus based on company performance.Â
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
Work Location:Â Denver, CO. Our office is open, and we require all staff to be in the office a minimum 2 days per week.
Work Schedule:Â Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with an hour lunch break.Â
Summary/Objective:
The Housing Logistics Manager (HLM) will be responsible for the team’s daily success and ensuring KPI’s, Operating Level Agreement’s (OLAs), and goals are continually met or exceeded. They will provide oversight by setting daily priorities for the team to schedule and coordinate transactions, setups, or deliveries of furniture, cable, internet, and utilities to ensure our clients have a seamless move-in experience. They will provide quick and insightful feedback as the first escalation point to ensure daily operational success. Continual monitoring of KPI’s and OLA’s to identify, create and implement processes improvement will be critical. They will be responsible for improving the client experience by improving efficiency, accuracy, timing, and expenses that are all directly impacted by our housing logistics team. The HLM will provide oversight and manage the onboarding of associates both internally and externally with our Offsite Team (BPO). The ability to manage a team of remote individuals will be critical to the role's success.
This individual will be ultimately responsible for the department’s success.
Essential Functions:
· Develop, maintain, and report regularly on a set of key performance indicators that drive successful outcomes.
· Drive results for assigned KPI’s that consistently meet or exceed OLA targets and goals.
· Manage and develop a team of Housing Logistics Leads to drive results through our BPO team
· Consistently review processes and provide innovative initiatives and countermeasures to enhance the department's performance that prevent reoccurring issues.
· Train and develop the critical thinking and logistics skills of all team members.
· Provide guidance, delegation, and daily oversight for assigned team’s activities and priorities.
· Player-coach mentality to flex between directing the traffic and completing activities that help facilitate the set-up & tear down of furniture, utilities, telecom via email or phone communication.
· Ability to provide “Customer Comes First” service, both internally and externally by going the extra mile for our customers but keeping the best interests of vendor and company relationships in focus.
· Work in conjunction with Strategic Partnership team to maintain and further vendor relationships.
· Develop, maintain, and ensure SOPs, documentation, and job aids stay current.
· Perform Quality Assurance (QA) via auditing calls/activities as needed.
· Establish and maintain relationships with all vendors that partner with Travelers Haven
· Negotiate positive outcomes with vendors on behalf of Travelers Haven and our clients
· First point of contact for all escalated vendor issues.
· Collaborate with the Head of Operations to set and assign individual & team goals, which directly align with company’s targets.
· Be responsible for all hiring, firing, promoting, and disciplining within the department.
· Identify and implement policies and procedures to prevent client impacting issues.
· Focus on maximizing Housing Logistics employee engagement through 1:1 conversations, career pathing, developing opportunities, and constantly challenging the team.
Competency:
· Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
· Knowledge in one or more aspects of vendor management (furniture, telecom, and utilities)
· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team-oriented environment
· Ability to professionally communicate via email or phone to various levels in and out of the organization, including upper management
· Proficient in time management with the ability to delegate and prioritize high-volume tasks
· Interpersonal skill and ability to resolve conflicts
· Excellent attention to detail
· Intermediate MS office proficiency. (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Analytical skills to track and evaluate KPIs and team productivity
· Competent in SaaS (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau)
Required Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with 3 years of relevant professional experience, including management of direct reports, staff development, vendor relations, etc.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience within the corporate housing industry.
· Minimum of 2 years of direct employee management and coaching experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· 2-3 direct reports · Responsible for directing the offsite contractor team, including team leads.
