Details about the position:

• Serves as the leader of AECOM's business development activities in a defined major metropolitan geography, in coordination with the Cities Initiative, State executive, regional business line leaders, market sector leaders and client account managers.
• Is responsible for establishing AECOM as the leading provider of professional technical services across all AECOM business lines in the area.
• Executes the overall strategy for growth in a major metropolitan or geography.
• Has significant prior business experience in municipal, state or intergovernmental agency sales and/or working with elected officials to establish business and achieve project goals.
• Has extensive knowledge of the business and product offerings to support cross-discipline/business line/region collaboration.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Understands the needs of the business, helps develop its strategic direction and identifies initiatives that will allow the business to meet strategic goals
• Develops strategy for major opportunities, including selection of teaming partners, win strategy, technical approach and staffing
• Coordinates with Internal stakeholder (legal, finance, other disciplines)
• Responsible for creation and positioning of commercial value and improvement in T&C from a commercial, legal perspective

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience including 4 years of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

10 years of leadership
