HR Administrator
Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized individual in a supporting role to the HR department. This role would best suit a candidate looking to support the HR shared services team administration. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work as part of a team, while independently and proactively completing tasks. Excellent organization, communication and IT skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential requirements. The nature of this role requires a tactful and confidential approach.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain electronic personnel records, enter new data, and update previous employee data in HRIS
- Review, revise, and update HR forms
- Create regular presentations and reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, retention rates, and more
- Assist with the management of the HRIS software of the organization including, but not limited to:
- Manage user access, security, and permissions
- Monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Stay updated on system updates, enhancements, and new functionalities
- Collaborate with Team Lead to troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues
Data Integrity and Compliance
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of HR data through audits and validation.
- Adhere to data privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Monitor compliance with data protection policies
- Take an active role in other HR Shared Services projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of proven experience in HR with HRIS platforms and systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Knowledge of HR processes and data
- Familiarity with HR compliance and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including exceptional phone and email etiquette required
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment
- Approachable, good follow-up skills, team player
