Job Description:

We're looking for a HR Agile Program manager to lead and support our Agile HR transformation. The purpose of this position is to lead the strategic direction using agile methodologies and deliver programs leveraging agile best practices.

You will be at the forefront of our Agile HR strategies, building on the knowledge and skills that already exist within HPE HR guiding organizational development and cultural change as well as modernizing these capabilities for the future of work.

In addition, this person will be responsible for building Agile capabilities within the function and leading Agile HR projects across HR. The successful candidate will partner with HR leadership as a strategic advisor to various teams on a range of projects to create advanced solutions to serve HPE team members. Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans on key projects. Contributes to the overall strategic definition of a function with strong business acumen. Acts as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business.

Overall, we are seeking a strategic consultant and a servant leader with an agile, solution-oriented, change leader who is not afraid to pursue new and exciting solutions and services to meet customer expectations.

This is a highly visible and collaborative position, requiring partnership across the enterprise including the HRLT. The role is responsible for fast-paced, time bound delivery of critical HR projects. This role routinely interacts with and influences senior leaders at HPE.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team that will be a new Center of Excellence for Agile HR
  • Sets strategic direction for leveraging agile methodologies within HR and builds agile capabilities across HR functions to optimize the HR operating model and maximize HR investments and customer value
  • Develops and leads planning, design, implementation and delivery of select agile projects across various HR functions across the globe
  • Actively partners with and influences clients at the SVP and VP level on a regular basis
  • Leads a direct team of Senior Individual Contributors as well as senior leaders within project teams in various HR functions, and/or globally by setting overall program initiatives, allocating financial and human capital for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of various agile programs.
  • Implement and support a learning culture to drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery
  • Leads activities related to HR agile programs and iterative projects. Coaches and advises teams to manage sprints, accomplish goals, meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational/support needs
  • Act as liaison with between Human Resources, stakeholders and business partners while providing agile consulting expertise to each. Collaborates with senior colleagues in the centers of expertise in order to apply sufficient HR resources to meet the business needs
  • Regularly update all stakeholders including the HRLT on progress, including performance measures, sprints, any variances, corrective actions, for programs
  • Manages and evaluates the HR programs and processes within the business or function. Assesses HR implications of the business strategy, identifies opportunities to further meet business needs, and designs solutions leveraging agile methodologies
  • Provide input into the change management strategy to support the implementation of Agile HR programs and initiatives, including rationale for change, engaging stakeholders and teams in change readiness

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in business, with exposure to HR.
  • Previous strategic experience, including influencing senior management.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments with understanding of these concepts, methodologies and practices as they apply to HR
  • Agile/Scrum or other Agile methodology master certification highly preferred
  • Proven expertise in agile methodologies best practices
  • First-level university degree required; advanced university degree in business preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Expertise in Scrum/Kanban or other Agile methodologies; displays an agile mindset
  • Proven success in using Design Thinking to help HR challenge ingrained thinking patterns and ensures that a workplace problem is properly investigated before diving into solution mode.
  • Excellent team lead skills, provide expertise to analyze client business requirements and determine delivered/custom solutions to meet these requirements
  • Expert understanding of HR processes and/or systems
  • Proven expertise in leading global projects
  • Superior organization and program management skills
  • Proven experience managing, leading, driving and measuring virtual teams toward common goals
  • High levels of tact and diplomacy

  • Ability to build partnerships across various functions.
  • Strong communication skills - written, oral and presentation.

USD Annual Salary: $75,500.00 - $174,500.00
