IFC's Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnerships to the business to meet organizational goals, including attracting, developing, and deploying diverse talent. The HR Department provides leading-edge services to a globally dispersed workforce while reinforcing line managers' responsibility for people management. It develops HR strategy, policies/procedures, communications, knowledge products, and learning offerings to enhance IFC's employee value proposition and drive staff engagement in support of the corporation's business objectives. It offers value-added solutions to staff and management globally, including recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, career management and mobility, performance/talent management, rewards and incentives, leadership development, analytics, and reporting. It also plays a critical role in supporting the organization in its commitment to building a diverse workforce, embracing equity, and fostering an inclusive workplace.

IFC HR is seeking an HR Analyst in the IFC's HR Director's office to coordinate with the IFC MD Front Office on various HR matters to ensure high quality communication and interaction and alignment across various exchanges with the Front Office. The HR Analyst would be assigned to join various HR Initiatives as needed. This HR Analyst position will be based in Washington, DC, and will report to the Director, Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for the successful applicant will include, but are not limited to:• In coordination with the Senior HR Officer, provide support to the HR Director on HR administrative items and others. • Work in close coordination with the Senior HR Officer and Senior Executive Assistant to support the HR Director and HR Management Team. • Work in collaboration with the HR Teams to proactively support high-priority initiatives. • Actively inform the HR Director of upcoming HR initiatives and plan the support accordingly.• Prepare customized reports related to the IFC MD Front Office to fill information gaps and enable strategic decision-making.• Establish, maintain, and actively operate with an effective network of contacts, both inside and outside the department and VPU, to ensure effective cooperation in support of the HR Front Office.• Support the IFC HR Team to benefit from a larger network in IFC and beyond for successful initiative delivery.• Work closely and effectively with Senior HR Officer in the HR Director Front Office to facilitate efficient flow of information and communication with IFC MD Front Office, WBG President's office, Corporate Secretariat. • Advice and assist in editing and formatting reports, presentations, and correspondence in accordance with IFC HR guidelines and procedures and in alignment with the expectations from IFC MD and Senior Management.• Support the HR team on all types of HR Events (in-person, virtually, and hybrid) and ensure the HR Director is briefed and well-prepared. • Provide backup to other colleagues in the HR teams, as needed.• Handle other ad hoc projects and assignments as assigned by the HR Director.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:• Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a similar field is desired but not mandatory, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or a minimum of 4 years of experience plus a bachelor's degree. • Experience with Executive level communications and working with the IFC MD Front Office. • Strong knowledge of the IFC Organizational structure and how IFC Senior Management operates.• Established network across IFC with VPUs' and Departments' Front office colleagues.• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and experience with executive-level correspondence and preparing client-ready materials.• Analytical ability to conduct research and analysis and report generation, and ability to articulate issues and recommend solutions to aid management in decision-making.• Knowledge of core HR areas, i.e., performance management, career development, recruitment, etc. is desired. • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, especially a proficient use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.• Experience in organizing and briefing key stakeholders for events.• Professional integrity, willingness, and flexibility to 'roll up your sleeves to engage in all aspects of HR Director Front Office.• Strong quality control orientation; attention to detail.• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.• High level of integrity, tact, and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information.• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting work priorities and demands.• Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and attend to details while staying focused on key priorities.
